This week, we're shining the spotlight on Hilary, one of our newest PDA Live girls. What makes Hilary's story so unique is that her journey started exactly where many of our customers are today—as a shopper tuning into lives, finding favorite pieces, and becoming part of the PDA community. Over time, her love for the boutique grew into something even bigger, eventually leading her to join the team and step in front of the camera herself.
Today, Hilary is helping women discover styles they love, sharing her favorite finds, and creating the same welcoming experience that first drew her to PDA. Join us as we get to know Hilary a little better—from her personal style and favorite products to the unexpected path that took her from customer to live girl.
How did you first discover the Polkadot alley? I met Ashley through her sister in law- my friend Krissy. Krissy shared PDA with me in the early days and I think my first purchase was sometime around 2012.
Do you remember your first pda purchase? The first thing I remember buying was a flowy maxi dress! Chevron of course!
How would you describe your personal style? A polished elementary school teacher who still likes to have fun. lol. But seriously I’d say classic with a few trends thrown in and always colorful.
What’s your favorite fashion trend right now? Wide leg and barrel jeans. They are so much more flattering on me than skinny jeans and I’ll never go back!
How has your perspective changed now that you’re in the other side of the screen These girls work harder than I ever realized!! They are just as kind and friendly as I hoped they would be, but the work that goes into every live, every shoot, every video…wow!! I had no idea.
What’s one fun fact about you that customers might be surprised to learn? I was a competitive swimmer for 13 years! Still have the shoulders to prove it. IYKYK
What Buckley piece do you wear the most? Currently it would have to be either my Jameson sets or 24/7 Skort.
What’s your perfect Saturday? Not setting my alarm, a slow start that allows me to get a workout and some cleaning in, and then a concert. Love live music!
Early bird or night owl? Early bird for sure. I get told I’m annoying during arrival duty at school. “Hilary please stop singing good morning- good morning to all the students” lol.
Sweet or Salty? Salty!
Mountains or beach? Tough choice but beach.
Favorite TV show? Anything true crime or Bravo reality. It’s my guilty pleasure.
